Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Program support

For the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’ s children’ s education programs, which serve children of all ages with on-site, in-school, and community-based initiatives.

Founded in 1910, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a tranquil, 52-acre urban oasis featuring plants from around the world.  The Garden is committed to education, community outreach, and scientific research, with a focus on conserving plants and protecting the environment.  The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has many specialty gardens, including the Children´s Garden, the Japanese-Hill-and-Pond-Garden, the Native Flora Garden, the Rose Garden, the Fragrance Garden, and the Conservatory.
